Must See Wine Tourism

Thanks to its five Designations of Origin (DO), the Costa Daurada is home to a wide range of attractive options for touring the wine area, including winery tours, walking tours of the vineyards, festivals, wine tastings, and lunches with wine pairings.

This internationally renowned industry offers many of the best wines in the world.

There are up to 6 modernist wineries on the Costa Daurada, they are unique architectural jewels that contain the fruit of an agricultural tradition that is still alive and with all its authenticity, you can live history while breathing in the aromas of wine.

No discussion of local wine would be complete without mentioning the DOQ Priorat, one of the only two areas with this distinction in Spain.

Approximate time from the port:

  • DO Tarragona (20 minutes)
  • DOQ Priorat (40 minutes)
  • DO Montsant (40 minutes)
  • DO Penedès (44 minutes)
  • DO Conca Barbera (43 minutes)
